TRV Isolation
TRV Isolation
Hi All
I'm looking to temporarily remove a radiator to decorate the room.
The rad has a standard valve on the left and a TRV on the right.
I aim to remove the rad and leave the isolating valves on the pipework.
The left hand valve will close fully, but the TRV has 3, 2,1,* settings.
If I set the TRV to *, will it full isolate the supply?
I assume if the room temp drops significantly, the valve will open. So how do I fully close the TRV?
Cheers
