Could I use this to prevent backflow in a rubber hose?
Hi,
I have a water softener that recently backflowed from the dishwasher and into the salt chamber via the rubber overflow hose which plumbs into the kitchen waste pipe. I don't want to replace the waste connections as it's very tight under the sink and the easier option would be for me to fit a check valve and I reckon something like this could do the job? I appreciate its designed for fuel lines but in my opinion it feels like it will be more reliable and robust?
