Stair Lift Rail Removal????

Hi there,

I recently bought a house with a stair lift in it.

I have managed to take the stair lift off of the rail by taking the limiter off and pressing up until it came off (not sure if thats the correct way to do it!!)

Im looking to remove the rail now.....I have removed all visible screws but the rail is still solid as one piece.

There are small screws embedded into the rail which appear to be stopping it moving however they are an unusual shape
