For the older gentleman - hipsters.
Like many, I wear jeans much of the time and find I spend lots of time, pulling 'em up, due to my belly. Recently, I found in the wardrobe, a pair of old hipsters, tried them and found them surprisingly comfortable - better yet, they stay put, and don't constantly ride down, and need pulling up. The only disadvantage is the fly zip, is shorter than traditional jeans, making life awkward.
