4kw gas fire cost to run?
Hi guys this may(or may not) be a stupid question...I have a 4kw gas fire (88% efficient) and glass front...I pay currently just under 6p per kilowatt per hour..so if I were to have the fire on for say 5hrs @ 4kw per hour that roughly works out to approx cost of £1.20p for gas used...BUT is that what my supplier will be charging me ?( not including standing charge & VAT)..or is it worked out by my supplier a different way costing me actually more per Kwh ? Thanks
